Two Bosses Enter … but only One Boss Leaves, in WoW Insider’s series of fantasy death matches. This season’s duelists hail from the five-man instances of Wrath of the Lich King.
It was kangaroo vs. ’shroom as Eck the Ferocious took on Amanitar in this week’s Two Bosses Enter, One Boss Leaves deathmatch. The little Gorloc [...]

Rumours abound from the Australian arm of Kotaku (and our own Joystiq) that PopCap’s CEO Greg Canessa is joining Blizzard. Given the success of their WoW addons for Peggle and (my personal favourite) Bejweled, the hiring of the man who helped launch Xbox Live Arcade is quite exciting.
Kotaku reports Canessa will be joining the teams [...]

Ghostcrawler had one line to say about a flood of complaints from Retribution Paladins who are feeling the pinch of a restrictive tree, effectively ending the argument: Blizzard feels that Retribution DPS, particularly in PvE, is lower than how they would want it in 3.1. This comes in light of the changes in the upcoming [...]

Robin Torres writes WoW, Casually for the player with limited playtime. Of course, you people with lots of playtime can read this too, but you may get annoyed by the fact that we are unashamed, even proud, of the fact that beating WoW isn’t our highest priority. Take solace in the fact that your gear [...]

Toussaint is exactly right — this took me back. Way back to the original login screen and music, when level 60 was the max and everyone was running UBRS and the Plaguelands instances, and “heroic” was just something us players were. Even the Burning Crusade login screen, right, brings back some memories, of wandering around [...]

I didn’t originally think I’d feature Forrest GumpDK. Mojorising created the video to help celebrate the four year anniversary of his guild, The Enigma Order. While I like seeing these videos, it’s usually not the kind of thing that appeals to an audience-at-large. After watching it through, however, the warm-hearted nostalgia grew on me. I [...]

Ishh over at Twinkinfo has some pretty big news for lower-level players: the enchants, librams, and even jewelcrafting trinkets that used to work for almost everybody ingame have gained a few level requirements on the PTR. Twinks especially love these items, as they can be used to give big buffs to even low-level players, but [...]

Here’s a really interesting followthrough by Blizzard I never thought I’d see. You may remember a thread a few months back where the OP complained that the PVP sets were boring-looking or visually uninspired; Zarhym responded matter-of-factly replied that the looks of the armor sets would improve over time. While PvE players receive loot that [...]

Earlier this week, the World of Warcraft community sites (multi-regional) updated with a gallery from WoW China. Chinese WoW players participated in an event called, “I Love World of Warcraft, I Love Spring Festival” that combined a passion for WoW with the Lunar New Year celebrations. Chinese players submitted pictures of themselves that incorporated both [...]
