Why Play a Pure Class?
With Blizzard’s new stance of allowing all specs of all hybrids to equal that of a pure class, why play one?
What is the purpose of playing a class that can only DPS, when ret paladins, enhancement shamans, elemental shamans, feral druids, balance druids, shadow priests, etc can all do your [...]

Orc Racial – Blood Fury
Correct me if I’m wrong here as I don’t know ALL the racials, or might have missed something, but is Blood Fury the only racial to have negative effects?
If so, I think it needs to be removed, or toned down to 25% at most. I know as my orc [...]

Tanking in Wrath of the Lich King
Threads have popped up in several class forums that seem to be converging on a few of the same issues. So rather than cross-posting a lot, I thought I would start a new thread.
Tanking design:

Noncombat pets bought before the patch not selling on the AH
Reader Dave sent word of another bug in the game after the latest patch (thanks!) that might cost players some money. A player was trying to sell his Hyacinth pet on the Auction House (there’s a small craze on vanity pets right now, thanks to [...]

Most frustrating part of beta…
broken addons.
god the default UI just kills me.
honestly, nothing is as bad as not having BONGOS, or a way to setup my layout visually. bongos manner for binding keys is light years ahead of ‘2nd bottom right action bar, button 13′ etc.
2nd most missed is one big [...]

Flying Mounts
Thats not entirely true. In some zones, such as Grizzly Hills, there are certain landmarks that will dismount you — Path of Iron, Drak’zin Ruins, for example.
Some zones don’t allow flying mounts at all, such as Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord. You may get a bit ways into each of these zones [...]

Around Azeroth: I’m so bored with the WotLK
See, this is the problem with being in the beta. You do all the new content early, then the slate gets wiped clean at release and you’re stuck redoing all the same quests for real in live. Virulina, guild leader of <Avatar> on Doomhammer, has apparently decided to [...]

I can’t say I agree with the “cheaper mats for the same effect” model. Many people, most raiders/arena PvPers look to gain the most benefit from their professions, not to save money.
Could we please see *better* leg enchants? I’d go so far as to say I’d pay triple the mat cost for a leg enchant [...]
